I build better government — and write about jazz.
I partner with government agencies, nonprofits, and mission-driven startups to shape digital transformation strategies and deliver equitable, effective services.
I approach strategy like improvisation: find the patterns, listen for what's not being said, make space for overlooked voices.
I've been a jazz critic since high school, writing for Downbeat, New York Times, New York Jazz Record and NPR. Chasing live music taught me how to really listen.
I also drum with Batalá Washington, teach people to ride bikes, and volunteer connecting communities of color to the outdoors.
